Our Story

The idea behind The Drinks Bakery began during a family campervan journey through Europe in 1976. A young Andy Murray—not that Andy Murray—discovered how the right local snack could make a drink taste even better.

Years later, that simple observation inspired a new kind of savoury biscuit: one thoughtfully created to accompany the drink in your glass.

The Drinks Bakery was created to give great drinks the snacks they deserve. That idea has earned multiple awards and national recognition on BBC Dragons’ Den, where founder Andy Murray secured investment from Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones.

Every Drinks Biscuit begins with a drink. We consider its sweetness, acidity, bitterness, aroma and finish before selecting the cheese, herbs and spices that will accompany it.
